Bye Bye Backporch
It’s only 8:30 in the morning here and the porch will be gone soon. I’ll miss the porch, but our new back door will have a home soon! A couple of more coats on the interior and by then I’m sure Nick and his dad will have the porch ready to go. Off to tack cloth the doors and put another coat on. It will be a great weekend!

We put in our new back porch door on the weekend, what a lot of work to get it to fit. It ended up being slightly more than 32”, I think it may have been metric, since it’s made in Brazil.

Luckily we had ours framed and they just had to put the header in and frame around that. We haven’t hung it yet- hopefully tonight and it will go more smoothly than yours!
