Diamond in the rough
We finally did it: the front door is hung!
(before, after)

It took all of our working hours yesterday, which had a hard stop at 3pm since we were headed to Trissa’s Dad’s birthday party (Happy Birthday, Chooch!). The door is in and it locks; we still have to put the trim back on the exterior. Of course the inside trim will wait until we have walls again.
For me, I’m just happy to get one more major item checked off the list (and out of the living room, where it’s been sitting for weeks). Trissa, well, she’s just happy to see all her work finishing the door pay off as beautifully as it has. Here it is close up - ignore the guy with the goofy grin…

Nice Door!We finally got our kitchen door painted, it’s a very similiar style, I wish we could have afforded stain grade.

That door is beautiful- makes you appreciate carpenters doesn’t it? I know I appreciate skilled carpenters alot more than I used to.
Like that light too- looks neat
