One-Handed Blogging

Someone should invent a one-handed keyboard for laptops - useful when you’ve got your newborn (sleeping) on one arm, and an urge to blog about yesterday’s project.

Which wasn’t all that exciting. I painted the upstairs hallway ceiling and walls, which were previously ‘grungy white’. It’s all niceand clean now; a huge improvement. Now I need to find an appropriate time to paint the floor, which I wouldn’t normally consider except it is currently painted ‘dirty-diaper brown’. Seriously.

In any event, it seems strange to me, this being home from work but not working on the house 100%. A total gear-shift. Trissa is feeling it the most given the late-night feedings and overall sleep deprivation. How on earth are we going to make house progress this way? Will we ever have drywall?

Oh - guess who’s awake…

Ha! I remember that same feeling. New (old) house needing lots of work and 10 whole weeks of maternity leave to do it all. Uh, huh. We were lucky if the bathroom got cleaned once a week.

    Sending love westward,

oh yes! I know this situation so well! I had to keep re-reading the houseblog, “A Fisherman’s House” to keep hope alive.

Hope you’re having a lovely time with that cutie patootie.
