Writing on the walls...
I’m supposed to be in bed right now, so don’t tell my mom and dad that I’m on the computer.
Yesterday was a great day- I finally got mom and dad to agree to let me install the chalkboard. Mom and dad built the frame and dad sanded the slate so it was a smooth surface.
They also had to help me carry it upstairs, but I got the screws ready in the pieces of wood.

It took a lot of work with the level, since this is upstairs where the plaster walls aren’t flat or true.

Mom and dad held it in place while I screwed it onto the wall. (okay- they’d say they did all the work, but who do you believe- adults, or a 1 1/2 year-old)?
Here’s the proof of me putting in the last screw…

Oh- and one last picture of trying out the chalk on the chalkboard… (mom said I had to wear my carharts while I was working, but I could take them off if I was just drawing on the chalkboard)!

A home renovation genius at such a young age — SUPER! (and I love the red hair - a true sign of genius)

That is briliant. I wish that I had a wall that I could use like that for our kids, they would love it (we have a 19-month old and a 5-year old, both red heads).
