Demolition dinner party

Our first floor demolition is complete, and the dumpster is full. Trissa will call this afternoon to have the container picked up tomorrow and taken away. Very satisfying, and I think my dump-run van is happy about it too. I don’t think it has that many trips left in it.

This weekend was productive: we finished pulling up the kitchen floor, knocked down the last bit of plaster, and took down the framing for one of the non-bearing walls that is getting moved slightly. To top everything off we ordered our new doors AND had a small dinner party last night right in the middle of all the construction debris. You’d think we have something to prove having guests over for dinner in the middle of all this…
