Details, details

This last week has been all about taking care of details.

  • wiring the half bath and pantry
  • installing and insulating the recirc line
  • finish misc. wiring for first floor
  • double checking framing for drywall
  • cleaning
  • installing recessed/light combination in half bath

In the middle of it all, our wireless router broke so the webcam’s been down for awhile. We got the new router configured a couple of days ago, then we had to reconfigure our access point and get the camera re-installed. I think we are now back to everything working the way it should. It’s a gorgeous day outside, so that may mean some work outside for me today. A welcome hint at early summer.. it’s 61 degrees right now and is supposed to get up to 70 degrees. I think that porch swing is calling my name…so don’t be suprised if you don’t see a lot of progress on the webcam from me today!

The Hot Water Lobster Instant Hot Water Valve uses the existing cold water lines to return the cooled water back to your hot water tank for reheating. It installs uner any sink in less than 10-minutes (with no electricity required for operation).

    Check it out at www.hotwaterlobster.com

Hotwaterlobster: It did not work in/on our system. After many e-mails back and forth with Mr. LaPrise (Vince) we sent it back. Well it has been the never ending story trying to get a refund for the upstanding company. We switched internet providers after we ordered and received the product. Well needless to say we can no longer get mail on that old e-mail account. We have provided Vince with a return receipt registered mail showing it’s return, the original order number, credit card number, phone number and mailing address. Yet six weeks later here we sit with no refund. I sure hope everything work out for you using that product because if it does not you are really screwed! Yes we have filed a complaint with the BBB but so far no action has been taken. Good Luck!

Ron Jackson received a prompt refund to his credit card from the Hot Water Lobster. Unfortunately Ron Jackson changed his email address and could not read his refund notice.

For security reasons the Hot Water Lobster only sends order information back to the email address listed on the original order. I’m sure our customers would not want it any other way.
