Limbo

I feel like we are a in a bit of a limbo for progress on the house. My vacation started before Christmas, but Atticus and I got the Nyquil version of the flu, “The nighttime, sniffling, sneezing, aching, coughing, stuffy-head, fever…”

So I didn’t have a daily post about all the progress I was making each day, like Nick did for his vacation. There was no progress on the house! Luckily we were well enough to travel for Christmas and are on the mend.

I think the only thing I accomplished over Christmas vacation was to put the little plastic things in all the outlets. Hopefully soon we’ll be back on track. That will mean breaking out the varnish again, finishing up the kitchen cabinets and moving forward on refinishing the baseboard trim.

Hopefully by this weekend we’ll have enough energy back to make a little bit of progress.
