Where have we been, and What have we been doing?

It seems like months since we’ve posted to Pigeon Point Project. It seems even longer since we’ve worked on the house. What gives?

In no particular order, here’s a short list of some of the big time sinks we’ve had so far in 2007:

• Everyone got sick for a week. Not the same week though.
• Atticus decided that sitting in one place just won’t do.
• Nick went to Israel for a week, for work.
• Atticus decided that standing is way more fun than crawling.
• We went without power for nearly 3 days.
• Never ending laundry!
• Atticus had ANOTHER ear infection.
• Trissa had to complete 59 progress reports for her 7th and 8th graders.
• Nick underwent surgery in his neck to remove a 10cm-long cyst.
• Atticus underwent surgery to install ear tubes.
• Work, work, work.

All that said, I did work one day last weekend on the kitchen nook. It’s far from complete, but perhaps soon I’ll have time to work on it again?
